June Cloud

June Cloud

It was the last day of the school in June 2004. After I returned the last book and came out the office, I was caught by the warm summer sun in front of a huge window on the third floor of the building. I stood quietly. Following the gym roof to the faraway north, I could clearly see the mountains. Only a few clouds were in the sky. At the moment I felt calm and relaxing. My heart was no longer that heavy comparing to the past five months. As I was walking around, the early summer temperature slowly warmed my face and body. Looking inside the building, the sunlight penetrated the glass roofs and lighted the large center lobby, where a few students were heading towards the exit.

Another Fall

After rain

Another countless days just passed, and again it was fall.

Last week, while I was sitting in the school lobby, I was thinking about when the sun would turn its face to the Southern Hemisphere. The September sunlight was more aggressive than June. Vancouver’s fall was no different from spring, the same grass and rose. The past few weeks were often breezy. The five o’clock sunlight penetrated the clouds and spilled on the maples. In the air, many golden dots were glowing and dancing, and some leaves fell off occasionally. It was indeed an enjoyable season. Even though the rainy season just started recent days, they didn’t affected life much except the pale sky and annoying wind.

Such a romantic scene of rain and sun could not be expected.
