Sunset in Stanley Park
It’s one very beautiful day in February Vancouver. Walking along the Stanley Park seashore for many miles till evening, it was my first time to see another side of the city and sea. Soft evening sunlight heated up afternoon freezing air and brushed blue ocean to bright orange. Cars and bicycles were slowly flowing through the golden carpets, and people slowed their steps down. Everything were shining and glowing. It’s a warm and peaceful moment that cannot be forgotten.
Early February
One Sunday before February, I visited north Vancouver for the first time. The weather was extremely good. The sun shaped every single shadow with perfect sharp edges. Flowers and leaves shined almost like holiday lights. Staring at south shore, the backlighting covered the sea with a light blue piece of fabric, and stars were flickering and waving above the fabric. The wind brushed my face like icecream melted in the mouth. In the sky, the seagulls were pursuing the clouds. Along the seashore, lovers, friends, travelers sat on the benches with gentle smiles. The day passed quickly and not all the details of the place I could record, but its spirit was already in my heart.
